Great care is taken to package all purchases securely, with protective bubble wrap for safe delivery.
Items will be shipped within 5-7 business days of ordering and payment clearance.
We aim to combine postage on items wherever we can safely do so.
Pick Up (Free)
No shipping is charged on orders that will be directly picked up. Be sure to select the pick up shipping option in the cart, to avoid shipping being charged.
All orders within Australia are sent via Australia Post, Signature on Delivery – with tracking, unless the final package is too big.
Delivery costs vary depending on the weight and size of the packaged item and the number of items you have ordered. Where possible, we are happy to combine multiple items in the one package. The shopping cart is configured to calculate combined shipping according to the weight of the item and its estimated packaging. If, for any reason, we cannot provide delivery at the cost charged at checkout, we will contact you with a quote for excess shipping.
We are also happy to arrange for courier services if requested.

We ship via Australia Post. Shipping parcels to destinations outside Australia is expensive. Australia Post has a postage assessment calculator for parcels for international parcels – http://auspost.com.au
We will charge you what Australia Post charges us, plus actual costs for packaging materials such as bubble wrap and an appropriate-sized box. Wherever possible we will use recycled packaging materials to minimise costs.
Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.
We take care to wrap items securely, but we cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to items by Australia Post or others after they leave our premises.
Items for delivery within Australia will always be sent Signature on Delivery and will carry cover for up to $100 of value. If you require extra insurance (currently (Dec.2014) $1.50 per $100) please email us immediately after you’ve placed your order and we will raise a separate invoice for the extra insurance cover you request.
All items are packaged as securely as possible for safe delivery.
The items we sell in this shop are second-hand and/or used. We take care to describe the condition of each item and to declare any damage, but an item may still have some minor marks commensurate with its age and/or use. Any serious imperfections or damage are described. Please note that photos are included as part of any item’s description.
If you receive an item that is not as described, we will make a full refund of the purchase price, once you have safely returned the item to us at your own cost. Please contact us first, if you feel that the item you received was inaccurately described.
If your parcel appears outwardly damaged on arrival, you must not accept it. If your item has been damaged in transit, please photograph and keep the entire packaging and contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
Please choose carefully – We endeavour to describe and photograph each item accurately. Cancellation of an order after it has been shipped is not possible. Vintage Kitchenalia does not refund orders that are cancelled or returned due to change of mind.
